Lastly, she is a fan of metaphysical topics interwoven with broader themes.
Cassidy graduated from New York University with a Bachelor’s degree in English and Economics. Throughout high school and college she participated in and led improv comedy groups. She graduated from Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theater’s improv and sketch comedy programs, and is a former UCB Maude writer. In 2018 she founded the popular indie sketch comedy show “Only Sketches About” at the People’s Improv Theater in New York City, which turned into the critically acclaimed podcast of the same name, as well as the OSA Comedy group, during the pandemic. Her sketches and full-length shows have been performed at theaters and festivals all over New York City, and her satirical writing has been featured in Weekly Humorist.
Outside of work Cassidy enjoys curling up with a romance novel and a cup of tea, birding in the park, volunteering for climate action, studying Korean and Italian, reading tarot, searching for the perfect gluten-free coffee cake, traveling, and fangirling over BTS.
